For the first time, the Ministry of Science Technology and Research organized the STS forum (Science and Technology for Society) for the purpose of use of science, technology and innovations for sustainable development under the direction of Hon. Minister Mr. Susil Premajayantha in Colombo from 8th to 10th September 2016.
